With all apologies to folks waiting on me to get back up and running, I want to share the saga of the new laser. After much research I decided on the Creality Falcon 2 Pro. Looked like a great fit for my projects and needs, has awesome reviews. I just didn’t catch any in depth complaints about their support.
I ordered it and for 3 days tracking indicated it was still sitting in their warehouse in L.A. I emailed asking why it hadn’t actually shipped… No response. 3 days later it was finally moving, but when it arrived there was only 1 of the 2 boxes. I emailed again… No response.
I sent another email to their marketing group and got a reply in Chinese, which translated to “support please priority this email.” Finally the other box showed up, FedEx had left it sitting in Moscow, TX and finally decided to bring it. I also finally got an email from support.
So I got it all put together and was so excited to try it out, only it wouldn’t connect to my computer. After a lot of tinkering I figured out that the USB ports were looser than the ones in my grandkids tablets, only those still work.
I replied back to Creality and explained what was wrong and that I wanted a refund. They ignored me and went into the normal, complete B.S. troubleshooting. I even made a video showing the problem which you can see here
It’s been another full week of them ignoring my demands for a refund. They claim they are sending me a main board even after I told them NO I WANT A REFUND. I filed a fraud claim with my credit card company but that’ll take 45 days. Hopefully before too much longer I’ll have something working and can get back to my projects.
